Day 8 - Across Arizona - 291 miles

Passing through Kingman rather than staying there this trip. I think on the way back, we stop there though

Charged 100% since we paid $25 for it. Made coffee for Roger and tea for me for the road and left early to get a head start on the day.

You can see from the map above, we had a high mountain ridge to cross over.

Stop 1 - 7:11am
Ordered Starbucks breakfast online and my decaf iced latte with lavender and oat milk-YUM!

Flagstaff, AZ, Tesla Supercharger

27% to 100% (150 miles to go to next charger making Roger nervous becaue we will be climbing for much of the next leg)

41¢/kWh totalling to $26.71

Peaked at 7300 miles elevation on our way to...

Stop 2

Electrify America lots of stalls out of order, had to move to better stall. Said "hyperfast" on the screen, but it was NOT

75% to 90% @56¢/kWh (expensive-ish)

Stop 3

Kingman, Arizona, Route 66 Museum

17% to 100% - 45 minutes! and $30.43 total (even more expensive)

Had to disconnect, hard to get to stalls and lots of construction with confusing signs. NOT a happy time. We had no choice as we were at 17% and we liked to stay as close to 20%. Also, when dragging a trailer around, it's harder to shop around. But at least we had our usual Tuna sandwich, chips & pickles.

The day got way better when we got to our Harvest Host, "Hooches 66 Bar & Grill." Since it was a Harvest Host stop, there were no hookups, but they had no problem with our using our generator as it was finally hot (90ºs), but nice and air conditioned inside.

The spot was flat and level and pretty sparse, but we arrived early so we could hang out a bit and relax from the day while the trailer cooled off.

We went from 7300 feet elevation to 515 feet, so we arrived with way more charge than we expected.

We had delicious burgers, fries, onion rings and Roger had a fake beer. They even had his favorite "Athletic NA." There was one other couple staying (also Harvest Host) and had a great time at the bar with just us 4 and a bartender that was fun to visit with. This stop reminded me of my days tending bar at Hero's in Manassas. (yes, I know there is usually a "e" in that word. That's how they spelled it)
